Purpose

The Council's delegated budgets
scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor
covered for the financial year 2024/2025. The funding for this
scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for
the benefit of the local community.
 

Councillor Ivan Taylor of
Claremont Ward has requested:

(i)                 
£100.00 as a ward councillor
donation to Blackpool Pride Festival, towards the cost of first Aid
for the event.
 
Councillor Lynn
Williams of Claremont Ward has requested:

(i)                 
£100.00 as a ward councillor
donation to Blackpool Pride Festival, towards the cost of first Aid
for the event.

(ii)               
£300.00 as a ward councillor
donation to Blackpool Food Bank, towards the cost of a new van for
deliveries.

recommendation as outlined above namely:
