Purpose

This report seeks formal approval for £19,000 of capital grant funding towards the Borrow IT project in South Shore, led by Community First.

The report is provided in response to the Executive Paper (EX39/2025 10th November 2025) and the decision to note the draft list of potential Pride in Place Impact Fund schemes outlined in the report, and for the approval of the final allocation of funding to be delegated to the Director of Place, in consultation with the Leader of the Council.

Decision

To agree that  the sum of £19,000 from the Pride and Place Impact Fund is allocated to the Borrow IT project in South Shore, towards the investment items listed in 8.2.

To authorise the Head of Legal Services to put in place an appropriate Grant Funding Agreement with the project lead, Community First Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde, a registered local charity.
