Decision

The Executive resolved as follows:
 
1. To
agree that Appendix 4a to the Executive report, is not for
publication by virtue of Paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of
the Local Government Act 1972 as it includes detailed costings that
enable the scheme to be viable. The publication of such information
could prejudice continuing and future negotiations.
 
2.
That authority is granted to prepare and submit a bid to Homes
England for capital grant funding to support the viability of the
scheme that will enable the construction of 25 new sheltered
apartments.
 
3. To
prepare and submit a planning application to seek full approval
from the Council as Local Planning Authority.
 
4.To commence procurement of a building contractor to construct
new Council homes at Whitegate Manor, and subject to an acceptable
level of grant funding being made available and planning approval
being received, grant authority to the Head of Legal to enter into
a design and build contract for a cost not exceeding the sum set
out in Appendix 4a to the Executive report.
