Purpose
The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £7,000 to each Ward Councillor covered for the financial year 2023/2024. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.
Councillor Anita Cooper of Anchorsholme ward has requested:
(i) £2,000 as a ward councillor funding donation to Community and Environmental Services towards the cost of trees on Luton Road, to link two Anchorsholme parks.
Councillor Paul Galley of Anchorsholme ward has requested:
(i) £2,000 as a ward councillor funding donation to Community and Environmental Services towards the cost of trees on Luton Road, to link two Anchorsholme parks.
Councillor Mel Fenlon of Bloomfield ward has requested:
(i) £1,925 as a ward councillor funding donation to Parks and Green Open Spaces towards the cost of items for Bloomfield Orchard.
(ii)£250 as a ward councillor funding donation to Broadway Stars Morris Dancers towards the cost of hiring a venue to perform dance competitions and fundraise for the group.
Councillor Jim Hobson of Bloomfield ward has requested:
(i) £1,925 as a ward councillor funding donation to Parks and Green Open Spaces towards the cost of items for Bloomfield Orchard.
(ii)£250 as a ward councillor funding donation to Broadway Stars Morris Dancers towards the cost of hiring a venue to perform dance competitions and fundraise for the group.
Councillor Julie Jones of Greenlands ward has requested:
(i) £269.94 as a ward councillor funding donation to Friends of Devonshire Road Rock Gardens towards folding tables for events in the community.
(i) £250 as a ward councillor funding donation to Blackpool Community Grocery towards Community Grocery Easter chocolate.
Councillor John Boughton of Layton ward has requested:
(i) £304 as a ward councillor funding donation to Layton Library towards play equipment and books for the library.
Councillor Kath Benson of Layton ward has requested:
(i) £304 as a ward councillor funding donation to Layton Library towards play equipment and books for the library.
Councillor Sarah Smith of Marton ward has requested:
(i) £200 as a ward councillor funding donation to Enveco NW Environmental Services, towards the cost of supply and installation of ‘Good Grief Trust’ plaques for benches in Marton Ward.
(i) £426 as a ward councillor funding donation to Illuminations towards the cost of Christmas tree lights on Marton United Reform Church (retrospective as new to application system).
Councillor Portia Webb of Tyldesley ward has requested:
(i) £1,387.20 as a ward councillor funding donation to Enveco towards a waste amnesty taking place in Tyldesley ward during March 2024.
Councillor Listette Roe of Tyldesley ward has requested:
(i) £1,387.20 as a ward councillor funding donation to Enveco towards a waste amnesty taking place in Tyldesley ward during March 2024.
Councillor Fred Jackson of Victoria ward has requested:
(i) £429.86 as a ward councillor funding donation to Revoe Library towards equipment in Revoe Library children’s area.
Councillor Pam Brookes of Victoria ward has requested:
(i) £429.86 as a ward councillor funding donation to Revoe Library towards equipment in Revoe Library children’s area.
