Purpose

The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £7,000 to each Ward Councillor covered for the financial year 2023/2024. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

Councillor Julie Jones of Greenlands ward has requested:

(i) £750 as a ward councillor funding donation to Redeeming Our Communities towards the cost of a staff member to facilitate open days, training days, or development days at the Arboretum and Repurposing site.

Councillor Jo Farrell of Ingthorpe ward has requested:

(i) £372 as a ward councillor funding donation to Bispham Endowed Primary School towards the cost of new books for Bispham Endowed School library.

Councillor Jon Bamborough of Ingthorpe ward has requested:

(i) £372 as a ward councillor funding donation to Bispham Endowed Primary School towards the cost of new books for Bispham Endowed School library.

Councillor Gerard Walsh of Squires Gate ward has requested:

(i) £100 as a ward councillor funding donation to the Friends of Solaris Park, towards prizes for children at an Easter Egg hunt at the Solaris Centre.

Councillor Graham Baker of Stanley ward has requested:

(i) £168.20 as a ward councillor funding donation to Marton Moss Neighbourhood Forum, towards Marton Moss Neighbourhood Forum Annual Digital Running Costs.

Councillor Fred Jackson of Victoria ward has requested:

(i) £50 as a ward councillor funding donation to Community and Environmental Services, towards a Revoe Park Children’s Allotment plots

(ii) £40 as a ward councillor funding donation to to Enveco NW Environmental Services, towards the cost of supply and installation of ‘Good Grief Trust’ plaques for benches in Victoria Ward.

Councillor Pam Brookes of Victoria ward has requested:

(i) £50 as a ward councillor funding donation to Community and Environmental Services, towards a Revoe Park Children’s Allotment plots

 (ii) £40 as a ward councillor funding donation to to Enveco NW Environmental Services, towards the cost of supply and installation of ‘Good Grief Trust’ plaques for benches in Victoria Ward.

Councillor Danny Scott of Warbreck ward has requested:

(i) £1,250 as a ward councillor funding donation to St Stephen on the Cliffs Church, towards the cost of the Solstice Arts Festival.

Councillor Michele Scott of Warbreck ward has requested:

(i) £1,250 as a ward councillor funding donation to St Stephen on the Cliffs Church, towards the cost of the Solstice Arts Festival.
