Purpose
The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £7,000 to each Ward Councillor covered for the financial year 2023/2024. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.
Councillor Jim Hobson of Bloomfield Ward has requested:
(i)£655.56 as a ward councillor funding donation to Bloomfield Waste Amnesty December 2023 (retrospective as costs were not approved until January 2024).
Councillor Mel Fenlon of Bloomfield Ward has requested:
(i) £655.56 as a ward councillor funding donation to Bloomfield Waste Amnesty December 2023 (retrospective as costs were not approved until January 2024).
Councillor Neal Brookes of Hawes Side Ward has requested:
(i) £50.00 as a ward councillor funding donation to the Lancashire Police Cadets, to provide 25 bike coding kits for a bike coding scheme.
(ii) £3,040.17 as a ward councillor funding donation to Parks and Open Green Spaces, towards tree planting on Marton Drive.
Councillor Kim Critchley of Hawes Side Ward has requested:
(i) £50.00 as a ward councillor funding donation to the Lancashire Police Cadets, to provide 25 bike coding kits for a bike coding scheme.
(ii) £3,040.17 as a ward councillor funding donation to Parks and Open Green Spaces, towards tree planting on Marton Drive.
Councillor Diane Mitchell of Waterloo ward has requested:
(i) £1,500 as a ward councillor funding donation to Thames Primary Academy, towards a new safe playground area at the back of the school.
(ii) £100 as a ward councillor funding donation to the Friends of Solaris Park, towards prizes for children at an Easter Egg hunt at the Solaris Centre.
(iii) £50 as a ward councillor funding donation to Community and Environmental Services, towards a Park Ranger Early Year Service (pre-school woodwork sessions) at the Highfield Hub.
Councillor Carl Mitchell of Squires Gate ward has requested:
(i) £100 as a ward councillor funding donation to the Friends of Solaris Park, towards prizes for children at an Easter Egg hunt at the Solaris Centre.
(ii) £50 as a ward councillor funding donation to Community and Environmental Services, towards a Park Ranger Early Year Service (pre-school woodwork sessions) at the Highfield Hub.

(i) £3,040.17 as a ward councillor funding donation to Parks and Open Green Spaces, towards tree planting on Marton Drive.

(i) £2,431.80 as a ward councillor funding donation to Groundworks, towards funding for a Senior Ecological Officer to work on the North Blackpool Pond Trail for 6 months over the course of one year.
(ii) £100 as a ward councillor funding donation to Enveco NW Environmental Services, towards the cost of supply and installation of ‘Good Grief Trust’ plaques for benches in Ingthorpe Ward.
Councillor Jon Bamborough of Ingthorpe ward has requested:
(i) £2,431.80 as a ward councillor funding donation to Groundworks, towards funding for a Senior Ecological Officer to work on the North Blackpool Pond Trail for 6 months over the course of one year.
(ii) £100 as a ward councillor funding donation to Enveco NW Environmental Services, towards the cost of supply and installation of ‘Good Grief Trust’ plaques for benches in Ingthorpe Ward.
Councillor Dave Flanagan of Greenlands ward has requested:
(i) £599.40 as a ward councillor funding donation to Kings People’s Church, towards the purchase of a defibrillator to be housed on the outer wall of the entrance to the Church.
Councillor Julie Jones of Greenlands ward has requested:
(i) £2,431.80 as a ward councillor funding donation to Groundworks, towards funding for a Senior Ecological Officer to work on the North Blackpool Pond Trail for 6 months over the course of one year.
(ii) £32.50 as a ward councillor funding donation to Enveco NW Environmental Services, towards the cost of supply and installation of ‘Good Grief Trust’ plaques for benches in Greenlands Ward.
Councillor Mark Smith of Talbot ward has requested:
(i) £160 as a ward councillor funding donation to Enveco NW Environmental Services, towards the cost of supply and installation of ‘Good Grief Trust’ plaques for benches in Talbot Ward.
Councillor Jane Hugo of Talbot ward has requested:
(i) £160 as a ward councillor funding donation to Enveco NW Environmental Services, towards the cost of supply and installation of ‘Good Grief Trust’ plaques for benches in Talbot Ward.
