Purpose

The above named highways having
been metalled and paved, drained and lit to the required standard,
should be adopted and maintained at the public expense under a
hybrid Section 38/Section278 agreement of the Highways Act 1980.
The foul and surface water drainage to be maintained by United
Utilities under Section 104of the Water Industries Act 1991. The
street lighting has been accrued by the PFI.
 

Decision

To formally adopt these
highways and maintain the road and highway drainage at the public
expense.  The foul and surface water
drainage being the responsibility of United Utilities. The street
lighting will be accrued by the PFI.
