Purpose

The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £7,000 to each Ward Councillor covered for the financial year 2023/2024. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

Councillor Jim Hobson of Bloomfield Ward has requested:

(i)£199.97 as a ward councillor funding donation to the Cultural Services Department towards the cost of new books for Revoe Library.

Councillor Peter Hunter of Highfield Ward has requested:

(i)£5,400 as a ward councillor funding donation to Tourism and Communications department towards the cost of the installation of a bus stop on the northern side of Highfield Road, outside the old Library.

Councillor Sarah Smith of Marton Ward has requested:

(i)£1,250 as a ward councillor funding donation to Marton United Reformed Church towards the cost of a disability access ramp (retrospective request).
