Purpose

To provide the background to
the proposal to place a temporary ban of fishing on Stanley Park
lake for a six-month period, in order to allow time for a
comprehensive consultation and review to take place as to the
future use of the lake for fishing.
 

Decision

To agree to the temporary ban
of fishing on Stanley Park lake for a six-month period from 1
September 2024 to 28 February 2025, in order to allow time for a
comprehensive review of fishing on the lake.
