Purpose

To
set out an amended schedule of pre-application advice fees and
charges for Planning for 2023/24 to correct for the fact that a fee
for subsequent meetings for significant major scale schemes was
omitted from the initial report.
 

Decision

1.     
To update the Council’s pre-application advice
charging schedule as detailed in Appendix ‘A’ (yellow
highlighting) with immediate effect until 31 March
2024. 
 

2.     
To agree that the fees charged can be reduced from
these rates in exceptional circumstances. At present, such
departure requires a published Officer decision from the Director
of Communications and Regeneration, following consultation with the
relevant Cabinet Member. It is proposed that, with immediate effect
until 31 March 2024 this be delegated to the Director of Growth and
Prosperity Programme Director.
