Purpose
The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £7,000 to each Ward Councillor covered for the financial year 2023/2024. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.
Councillor Julie Sloman of Norbreck Ward has requested:
(i)£350 as a ward councillor funding donation to BJFF Spartans as a contribution towards warm kit coats for the young people to wear in winter, to enable training outside and attendance at matches with other teams.
(ii)£451 as a ward councillor funding donation to 1st Norbreck Scouts and Guides towards the repainting of the interior of the building, to allow increased use of a community facility.
Councillor Paul Wilshaw of Bispham Ward has requested:
(i)£449 as a ward councillor funding donation to Bispham CastAways CIO, towards the purchase of a laptop with one year’s virus protection to run their sound desk and sound effects for shows and community events, both at their theatre home and at care homes, with the idea of future community events in the long term.
Councillor Matthew Thomas of Brunswick Ward has requested:
(i) £60 as a ward councillor funding to Enveco NW Environmental Services towards the purchase of 4 alley keys for central Brunswick, to be given to the police officers frequenting the area.
(ii) £600 as a ward councillor funding to ROC Gardening Services towards the cost of garden winter work in the ward.
Councillor Laura Marshall of Brunswick Ward has requested:
(i) £60 as a ward councillor funding to Enveco NW Environmental Services towards the purchase of 4 alley keys for central Brunswick, to be given to the police officers frequenting the area.

Councillor Jim Hobson of Bloomfield Ward has requested:
(i) £300 as a ward councillor funding to Memory Lane Cafe (Ibbison Court) towards providing 50 members of Ibbison Court's Memory Lane Club with a Christmas lunch at the Ruskin Hotel.
Councillor Mel Fenlon of Bloomfield Ward has requested:
(i) £300 as a ward councillor funding to Memory Lane Cafe (Ibbison Court) towards providing 50 members of Ibbison Court's Memory Lane Club with a Christmas lunch at the Ruskin Hotel.
Councillor Kathryn Benson of Layton Ward has requested:
(i) £108 as a ward councillor funding to the Layton Methodist Forward Project towards providing 200 selection boxes to children on the night of the Layton Christmas Tree Switch on community event.
Councillor John Boughton of Layton Ward has requested:

Councillor Gillian Campbell of Park Ward has requested:
(i) £1,176 as a ward councillor funding to the Illuminations Department towards the installation and lighting of a Christmas tree at The Grange.

(i) £1,176 as a ward councillor funding to the Illuminations Department towards the installation and lighting of a Christmas tree at The Grange.
Councillor Michele Scott of Warbreck Ward has requested:
(i) £465 as a ward councillor funding to the Parks and Green Open Spaces Department towards the cost of a sustainable Christmas Tree in the grounds of St Stephen’s Church.
Councillor Danny Scott of Warbreck Ward has requested:
