Purpose

The Council has authority to enter into an agreement with
the Integrated Care Board pursuant to s75 to continue to maintain
pooled funds out of which prescribed local authority functions and
prescribed NHS functions can continue to be
provided. 
 
The delegation was granted to
the Director of Resources at the Executive meeting on 5 December
2022 due to the joint role now held by the Director of Adult
Services in order that there is clarity of roles and to proactively
avoid conflicts of interest.
 

Decision

1.      
To enter into the s75 agreement attached at Appendix
A with Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board and
Blackpool Borough Council for 2024/25 and any further subsequent
s75 agreements with the same parties. 
 

2.      
To authorise the Head of Legal Services to enter
into any s75 agreements with the ICB and Council.
