Purpose

Strong Family Holdings Limited
has requested that the above named highway having been metalled,
paved, lit and drained to an acceptable standard should be adopted
and maintained at public expense under Section 37 of the Highways
Act 1980, as per the terms of the act this will take place
following a 12 months maintenance period. The foul water drainage
to be maintained by United Utilities under Section 104 of the Water
Industries Act 1991. The street Lighting to be maintained under the
PFI.
 

Decision

To formally adopt these
highways and maintain the road and highway drainage at the public
expense.  The foul water drainage being
the responsibility of United Utilities. The street Lighting to be
maintained under the PFI. The 12 months maintenance period will
begin on the 8January 2024.
