About
The Executive is responsible for the majority of the Council's day-to-day operations and all budget and policy decisions, excluding regulatory functions like planning and licensing, and staffing matters. It oversees major organisational changes, budget preparation and monitoring, service developments, and performance targets. The Executive delegates some of its powers to council officers for daily decision-making. Its decisions and recommendations affect the services provided by the council.
