Safety Committee

The Safety Committee, made up of five councillors and five trade union representatives, works to foster collaboration between the Council and its employees. Its primary purpose is to develop and implement measures for managing health and safety risks. The committee aims to ensure the well-being of employees, service users, contractors, and anyone else impacted by the Council's operations. Its full terms of reference are detailed in Part 3 of the Council's Constitution.
