About
The Standards Committee promotes and maintains high standards of conduct for all members of Bolsover District Council and town and parish councils within the district. Chaired by an independent co-opted member, it oversees adherence to the Council's Constitution and Code of Conduct. The committee also reviews the Constitution and Code of Conduct annually. Independent persons are appointed to advise on handling complaints about breaches of the Code of Conduct.
