The Licensing Committee provides democratic oversight and decision making regarding the Council’s licensing policies and responsibilities, including alcohol licensing, gambling licensing and taxi and private hire vehicle licensing. It sets local policies on the licensing regimes within the Council area. At each Licensing Committee meeting there is an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions. Here we explain the process for asking questions.
