Decision

RESOLVED that Cabinet:

a)  Accepts the latest position regarding the developing 2027/28 Budget and MTFP position.

b)  Note the progress to identify £32.4m of savings and efficiencies identified for 2027/28 but that there is still much more to do.

c)  Thanks officers and the lead member for performance, for the significant efforts made to date to identify savings and efficiencies and calls on all parties to work together to ensure a legally balance budget for 2027-28 is achieved.

d)  Notes the update of the SEND reform plan funding and the continued lobbying to government regarding the 10% unfunded deficit.
