About
The Employment Committee considers appeals against employee dismissals and determines matters relating to the employment or dismissal of staff not handled by officers. It also formulates human resources policies, including those on remuneration, performance appraisal, training, conditions of employment, retirement, redundancy, superannuation, and industrial relations consultation, making recommendations to the Council. A sub-committee will be appointed to vary human resource policies for school-based staff after consultation.
