About
The Health and Wellbeing Board is a statutory committee responsible for improving health outcomes and reducing health inequalities for people living in or receiving care in Bracknell Forest. It prepares a Joint Strategic Needs Assessment and a Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy, and encourages integrated working between health and social care services.
The Board's work involves assessing local needs, engaging with patients and the public, and ensuring that commissioning plans and service plans align with the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy. It also oversees the publication of information on local provision for children and young people with special educational needs and monitors performance against health and social care outcomes.
