The Schools Forum is responsible for making decisions and providing consultation on how schools in Bracknell Forest are funded. It agrees changes to the Scheme for Financing Schools, sets budgets for specific contingencies, and approves increases to centrally managed school budgets under certain conditions. The Forum also consults on the school funding formula, including its factors, criteria, and methods. It is consulted annually on arrangements for pupils with special educational needs, pupil referral units, early years education, insurance, grants, and free school meals. Additionally, it reviews service contracts funded from the schools budget.
