Purpose

The S19 Policy outlines Bracknell Forest
Council’s statutory responsibilities to provide suitable
education for children of compulsory school age who, due to
illness, exclusion, or other reasons, are unable to access
education. This includes ensuring that all children receive
education that is efficient, suitable to their age, ability,
aptitude, and any special educational needs.

To approve the revised Section 19 Policy and
Process.
