To approve the terms of a new lease to the
current tenant

Reasons for the decision

Lease Renewal in accordance with the
provisions of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954 Part 2. The new
rent will result in an increase in income for the Council and is
reflective of market rents.

Alternative options considered

Continuing on the terms of the old lease,
which would result in a lower rental income and was therefore
rejected.
