Purpose

To approve the education transport policies
for Bracknell Forest children aged 5 to 16 and post-16 for the
2025/26 school year.

Decision

i.      
That the Education Transport Policy for Bracknell Forest Children
aged 5 – 16 2025/26 (Annex A) and the Post 16 Education
Transport Policy 2025/26 (Annex B) be approved.
 

ii.    
That to better align with Bracknell Forest School Admissions
timelines, the Education Transport Policies for the academic year
2026/2027 be published by October 2025, meaning when Parents and
Carers apply for school places, they will be fully aware of the
relevant Education Transport policies for the upcoming academic
year.
 

iii.   
That a full review of both policies for 2026/27 be undertaken in
summer 2025 including consultation with relevant internal and
external stakeholders.
