Reasons for the decision

The letting will provide additional rental
income for the council and will reduce expenditure on property
costs from the vacant unit.

Alternative options considered

To continue marketing the property. This was
rejected as this would incur further empty property costs with no
potential benefit as the property has been marketed for 12 weeks
and the letting is on acceptable terms.
