RESOLVED that Cabinet
 

i.      
notes the contents of the Engagement and Research report.
 

ii.    
invites partner organisations to endorse the Bracknell Forest
Vision 2050.
 
RECOMMENED that Council approves the
Bracknell Forest Vision 2050.

Reasons for the decision

 
 
 
 
As set out in the report, to bring forward the
proposed vision and to support our
community’s future social, physical and
economic wellbeing.

Alternative options considered

The council could have chosen not to pursue
the formation of a vision, relying solely
on existing shorter term strategic plans and
objectives. It was considered important to
take a leadership role that looked forward
beyond normal election cycles.
