Strategy

Decision

RESOLVED that Cabinet acknowledges the
progress made by the council in relation to its Climate Change
Strategy (2020-2024).

Reasons for the decision

The Motion of 13 September 2023 set the
ambitious target for the council to achieve
net-zero CO2 emissions as close to 2030 as
possible, and aim to make the wider
Bracknell Forest area net-zero as close to
2030 as possible. The council has previously agreed that a report
should be published annually to outline the progress that has been
made and the actions that have been taken to meet these
targets.
