Purpose

To note the outturn position for the year and
approve carry forward requests.

Decision

RESOLVED that the Cabinet:
 

i.      
notes the outturn capital expenditure as outlined in Table 1.
 

ii.    
approves carry forwards of £56.770m from the 2024/25 capital
programme to 2025/26, including the specific schemes listed in
Annex A.
 

iii.   
notes the financing of capital expenditure as shown in Table 2.

Reasons for the decision

The reasons for the recommendations are set
out in section 5.

Alternative options considered

Cabinet could decide not to support
carry-forwards of unspent capital budgets,
however that would mean that many schemes that
are in progress would need to be
aborted.
