Postal Services Procurement

Decision

i.      
The Strategic Procurement Plan (Appendix
A) for procurement of Postal
          
Services for Bracknell Forest Council is approved.
 

ii.    
The Cabinet Member for Economy and Regeneration in consultation
with the     Executive
Director Place will delegate the decision to award of the contract,
once procured, to the Executive Director Place.
 

Reasons for the decision

The current contract for outgoing mail is
under contract which expires in April 2026

Alternative options considered

Without a renewed contract the post room of
Bracknell Forest Council will purchase postal services on an ad hoc
inefficient and costly basis
