Purpose

To update Cabinet on a proposed
change to social care provider arrangements within the
Borough.
 

Decision

RESOLVED that
 
i.      
Authority be delegated to negotiate the exit agreement with the
current provider and finalise the transition arrangements to the
new provider within the parameters set out in paragraph 6.10 to the
Executive Director: Resources and Executive Director: People in
consultation with the Cabinet Members for Adults and Public Health
and Finance and Corporate Improvement.
 
ii.    
during the interim contract period, the required procurement
process is undertaken in line with the Procurement Act 2023 to
secure the long-term delivery of the service.
