Decision to award contract for Library PC
booking solution designed to give control over the access and
prebooking of public work stations.

Reasons for the decision

The solution is interoperable with existing
core LMS and other linked systems that provide library services. It
is necessary to reduce manual overhead of individual device
management by library staff. A system ensure that we can review
stats of location and device usage as well as monitor faults and
issues.

Alternative options considered

Other options were not considered due to the
integrated nature of the solution with key operational
deliverables.
