Approve a proposal to extend the 30mph speed limit on B3017 Priory Road, Winkfield.

Reasons for the decision

To improve road safety for residents of the properties fronting on to the northern section of Priory Road and vehicles entering Church Road and North Road by encouraging lower vehicle speeds.

Alternative options considered

The 30mph speed limit has not been extended to cover the whole length of Priory Road as south of Church Road the road has a more rural environment with less direct frontages, and Thames Valley Police have indicated they would not support such a proposal.
