BFC own The Peel Centre an edge
of town commercial retail park and the adjoining The Point Leisure
scheme. The Tenant has requested an assignment of The Peel Centre
lease and initial advice was given by consultant property
professionals who were one of 3 firms approached to submit fee
proposals for this initial advice and potential further
advice.
 
This award report is further to
an award report for the initial lease advice on 21 August
2025.
 

Decision

RESOLVED that the Assistant Director: Property
Services approve the recommendation for the award of contract to
the property consultants set out in the confidential report.

Reasons for the decision

Three suppliers were invited to quote to give
initial advice and additional advice. The initial advice has now
been completed and this contract is for the additional advice to be
provided to the consultants who provided the most competitive
quote
