Purpose

To agree the admission arrangements for the
2027/28 academic year for community and voluntary controlled
primary and secondary schools

Decision

RESOLVED that:
 

·      
Following a public consultation on a proposed change to the
Crowthorne CofE Primary School, that the designated area remains
the same at this time.

·      
The annual admission arrangements for 2027/28 are agreed.

Reasons for the decision

The LA has a statutory duty to determine their
admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled
schools in its area annually, ensuring they are fit for purpose for
the community and comply with the School Admissions Code 2021.

If admission arrangements are required to
change there is a statutory duty to consult the LAs relevant area
and take views that are expressed into account.
 
To ensure admission arrangements are
determined by the Cabinet Member on or before 28 February 2026 in
line with the statutory School Admissions Code 2021.
