To award the Security Safety Systems contract to a sole bidder for a period of five years at a total contract value of £139,950.

Reasons for the decision

Following completion of the tender evaluation process, bidder 1 was identified as the sole compliant tenderer. The submission was assessed against the requirements of the Invitation to Tender, Contract Conditions, Specification and Pricing Schedule to determine its suitability for contract award.

Alternative options considered

The evaluation concluded that bidder 1 has demonstrated the technical capability, experience and resources necessary to deliver the contract requirements and is therefore recommended for contract award, subject to satisfactory completion of financial due diligence checks and a successful pre-contract meeting.
