Decision

The Council granted the Bracknell Forest
Cambium Partnership (The JV) a licence to occupy the site known as
Market Street in December 2023. The licence allows access to the
site for the JV, contractors and subcontractors to carry out works
to implement a planning consent granted on 15 June 2021 for the
wider Market Street site.

The permitted use of the licensed area includes for the
construction of a temporary substation, which is to be installed by
Southern Electric Power and Distribution (SEPD). The Council
therefore need to enter into an appropriate agreement direct with
SEPD to align with the existing licence terms. The agreement will
terminate to coincide with the overarching licence to occupy and
there will be provision to terminate the agreement earlier, on a
rolling break basis.
