Annual report on actions within Climate Change
Strategy

Decision

RESOLVED
that the Executive agrees the report and notes the
progress made by the Council in relation to its climate change
strategy.

Reasons for the decision

 
 
The
council has set the objective of achieving Net Zero by 2030, in
line with its
declaration of a climate and biodiversity emergency. Tracking
progress of this
objective was agreed as part of the council’s climate
change strategy. This strategy
sets out that a report on
progress would be presented to council annually.
