Decision

To enter into an agreement for lease with the
Secretary of State for Education for a 125 year lease to an academy
Trust for a new SEN free school.
The agreement is conditional on a transfer of the land from the
developer to Bracknell Forest Council. The intention is that the
SofS will procure the construction works on the site and that the
lease will be granted before the main construction works begin. A
licence for access will permit survey work and investigations in
advance of completion of the agreement for lease.
On completion of the construction, the free school trust will
occupy and operate its school from this site in accordance with the
agreed terms of the lease.
