Decision
The grant of this lease will allow Scottish
and Southern Electricity (SSE) to build a new electricity sub
station that is required to power the proposed new Health Hub at
Market Place
Reasons for the decision
The substation is required to serve the
proposed new Health hub, which is being developed by the Council in
partnership with Frimley ICB.
Alternative options considered
There is not sufficient capacity within
existing sub stations and the new substation will provide the most
cost effective solution to enable to development of the
hub.
