That Executive approved:

(1)           Delegation of approval to spend to the Strategic Director, Place in consultation with the Strategic Director, Corporate Resources/S151 officer to acquire any necessary land by private treaty and within the existing capital budget.

(2)           Delegation of approval to spend to the Strategic Director, Place in consultation with the Strategic Director, Corporate Resources/S151 officer for the construction of a new major cemetery subject to Executive approval of the final cost.

(3)           £3.4m being added to the capital programme as part of the formal budget process in March 2026.
