Purpose

CBMDC are engaged in the regionally funded and procured Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) project, this was approved by the Executive on 04/02/2025. The approval included accepting and spending £3.1million of grant funding from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority. The project is being procured and implemented in stages, which has resulted in the overall grant funding being divided into smaller Grant Funding Agreements. This report to is to document the offer of the phase 2a grant funding agreement and to detail its acceptance as a Non-Key Officer decision under Article 14.20 of the constitution. The total grant funding for this agreement is £1,296,460.00 and forms part of the overall approved project budget.

Decision

To accept the Grant Funding Agreement from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and continue with the project as instructed by the existing Executive Decision.

Option 1 - Accept the Grant Funding Agreement and continue with the project.
Option 2 - Refuse the Grant Funding Agreement and withdraw from the Project
Option 3 - Refuse the Grant Funding Agreement but continue with the project
