Purpose

The report will present details of a project proposal for a funding allocation from the Local Regeneration Fund for Keighley. Approval for grant award is being sought.

Decision

Resolved –

(1)           That Option 1 as set out in Document “J” to approve the grant award of £4.524m be approved. This would ensure inward investment into Keighley and delivery of this key project within the funding window. This is the minimum level of grant assistance required to secure the project and therefore an option for a reduced grant amount would not see this this investment progress.

(2)           That authority be given to the Strategic Director of Corporate Resources/S.151 in conjunction with the Strategic Director of Growth in consultation with the Director of Legal and Governance to agree the detailed terms of the grant funding agreement including any security required.
