Purpose

For Cabinet to agree the wording of Breckland
Council’s response to the Government’s consultation on
“Devolution” in Norfolk and Suffolk.

Decision

RESOLVED that:
 
1)    
Cabinet agrees to the proposed consultation responses outlined in
Appendix A and confirms that these are to be submitted to
government as part of its consultation on “Devolution”
in Norfolk and Suffolk.
 
2)    
Cabinet delegates authority to the Chief Executive, in consultation
with the Leader of the Council, to finalise and submit Breckland
Council’s response to the consultation prior to the deadline
of 13 April 2025.
