Purpose

To approve the plan for spend of the UKSPF
fund 25/26

Decision

RESOLVED that:
 
1)    
Cabinet agrees the proposed approach to utilising UK Shared
Prosperity fund in Breckland for 2025/26,

 
2)    
Cabinet delegates to the Executive Director, in consultation with
the Portfolio Holder for Economic Development and Growth, the
administration, delivery and operation of the fund
 

Reasons for the decision

Agreeing to the proposed investment approach
will enable the Council to benefit from
significant investment in local priorities. It
will allow us to develop a work programme, with partners, based
around a few core priorities which link to evidenced needs and
 opportunities.
 

Alternative options considered

Option 1 – To approve the
recommendations. Agreeing to the proposed outline
approach for utilising UKSPF funds.
 
Option 2 – To seek a different
investment approach to the one proposed. Based on another
configuration or prioritisation areas within the UKSPF
guidelines.
 
Option 3 - Do
nothing
