Purpose

To align the provision of food waste containers with our existing services, charging for containers for new properties and replacements.

Decision

To adopt the charging structure for the provision of food waste containers (see report)

Reasons for the decision

Introducing a charge for the food waste containers will reduce the cost of the service by passing the cost of providing and delivering the containers to the resident/developer.

Introducing the charging structure will align the provision of food waste containers with the Councils existing policy
