Rough Sleeper Service Funding

Decision

To receive £125,000 on an annual basis, for 3 years, beginning 2026 27, towards the council’s work with entrenched rough sleepers.

Reasons for the decision

This funding will fund the additional work required to support the people sleeping rough in Breckland who have been on the streets for a significant amount of time.  It is to work in partnership with key agencies who provide additional expertise and support.

Alternative options considered

This is a funded scheme with a Service Level Agreement to monitor delivery; therefore, other options are not relevant.
