This will provide a revenue receipt to the council and offload any maintenance costs associated with this land, as well as providing an extended garden space to 112 Sandy Lane, Dereham.

Alternative options considered

·         Approve the sale of the land adjacent to 112 Sandy Lane, Dereham, subject to the proposed restriction on its use.

·         Do nothing, in which case the Council would retain the land and remain responsible for its maintenance and associated costs.
