The Standards Panel is a sub-committee of the Audit, Standards & General Purposes Committee. It handles allegations that councillors or co-opted members have broken the council's Code of Conduct. The panel also decides on requests for dispensations for members who have a financial interest in a matter being discussed. Its decisions and membership are guided by procedures set by the main Audit, Standards & General Purposes Committee.
