Purpose

Update on a review of Housing health &
safety compliance and assurance undertaken in anticipation
forthcoming significant legislative and regulatory changes
following the Grenfell tragedy.

Content

RESOLVED:
 

2.1     
That Housing & New Homes Committee note the key outcomes,
actions and resourcing plan arising from the Housing health &
safety review to date and that a final report and an Action Plan
will be brought back for consideration at September Housing &
New Homes Committee following engagement with tenants at Housing
Area Panels.

 

2.2     
That Housing & New Homes Committee agree that this Committee
report is shared with the Regulator of Social Housing.
