Purpose

This report seeks approval to publish the Re:Frame Visual Arts Analysis for publication. This was co-commissioned with Arts Council England and developed in partnership with the visual arts sector in the city and includes recommendations for sector-led solutions to the challenges it faces.

Decision

That the Cabinet Member for Culture, Heritage and Tourism:

Agrees to the reports publication and general release through both council and stakeholder channels, following approval from the project advisory board and Arts Council England.

Agrees that the Council is supportive of the sector and working collaboratively to advocate for partnerships, investment and growth.

Agrees to support communications on this report through key events and media communications.
